The India-England game turned out to be a run-feast with both the teams nearly touching the 200-run mark as two of the top three totals in Women’s T20I cricket were recorded in the game. India posted their highest total ever with 198/4 thanks to Smriti Mandhana’s 40-ball 76 and a 43-ball 53 from Mithali Raj. Daniel Wyatt single-handedly guided England in the mammoth chase with her 64-ball 124-run effort as the visitors won the game with eight balls to spare.

All the stats and numbers that were recorded during the high-scoring game between India and England:

1England’s Jenny Gunn became the first cricketer in T20I history (Men’s or Women’s cricket) to feature in 100 games. This game between India and England was the 100th game of Gunn’s T20I career.

2 – Danielle Wyatt became the 2nd player after Deandra Dottin to score multiple centuries in Women’s T20I cricket. Her 52-ball century is the 2nd quickest in Women’s T20I behind Dottin’s 38-ball hundred in 2010 against South Africa.

4 – The century opening stand for India is the 4th century stand to include Mithali Raj in Women’s T20I cricket. Mithali, Suzie Bates (6) and Meg Lanning (4) are the only players to be a part of four and more century partnerships in Women’s T20Is.

24 – Danielle Wyatt’s 24-ball fifty is the 4th fastest fifty in Women’s T20I cricket and also the fastest by an England player. This is also the joint 2nd fastest fifty for England in T20I cricket (Men’s and Women’s cricket) behind Ravi Bopara’s 23-ball effort against Australia in 2014.
