Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag share a special bond as both debuted for Team India around the same time and saw their career rise to great heights. Both of them are also one of the most active cricketers on social media platforms and thanks to the immense sense of humor they both have, their banter on Twitter is extremely exciting.
Both of them played key roles in many India wins like the NatWest series win in England in 2001, Champions Trophy win in 2002, both played in the finals of World Cup 2003 and were part of World T20 2007 winning Indian team and also led India to win in the 2011 World Cup, with Yuvraj winning the Man of the tournament award.
Sehwag announced his retirement from international cricket in 2015, having played his last game in 2013 and Yuvraj made a comeback into the team, after two years out of Team India. Yuvraj contributed valuably to Indian wins in Australia T20I series and Sri Lanka T20I series along with title win in Asia Cup T20 2016. He played a supporting role in India’s win against Pakistan in the World T20 2016 but was injured and ruled out of the tournament, missing the important semi-final against the West Indies, which India lost.
But both the cricketers were found having an animated chat on Twitter about food choices and shopping for stuff. Sehwag tweeted saying, “If food remains in the stomach, stomach gets spoiled; if we keep earnings with us, our life gets spoiled …!!
