Indian Team’s spectacular spinner Yuzvendra Chahal opened up about his dream hat-trick and said that he would like to take the wickets in the form of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and AB de Villiers. He named Kohli and Sharma as his top two and said that he would like to scalp the South African legend if he is playing.

Chahal recently scalped a hat-trick in the IPL while playing for the Rajasthan Royals, and finished off his spell with a sensational five-wicket haul against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Before getting his hat-trick, he had already scalped two wickets and had put KKR in a troublesome situation. While bowling his final over of the spell, he dismissed Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Mavi, and Pat Cummins to end KKR’s winning dream.

Speaking to ESPNCricinfo, when asked who would constitute his dream hat-trick, he said: “One would be Virat Bhaiya, Rohit Bhaiya, and then I will go with AB Sir if he is playing then definitely him.”

Yuzvendra Chahal had celebrated his first IPL hat-trick in a unique way

Chahal had celebrated the five-wicket haul against KKR in a unique manner as he imitated his pose, which went viral as a meme, back from the ICC 2019 ODI World Cup and took the viewers by a storm. When asked if he was planning on coming up with a new celebration for a hat-trick or fifer in the upcoming matches, he added:

“No, I’ll continue with the one I am doing right now. Because that meme is very close to me. I won’t slide. The meme is of me in a relaxed pose. So I’ll just go and relax and sit.”

Chahal is currently the joint-highest wicket-taker in the IPL 2022 as he has scalped 24 wickets in 13 matches (at the time of writing this piece).  He is currently playing against the Lucknow Super Giants in the 63rd match of the tournament. Rajasthan batted first and put up a total of 178 runs in 20 overs.
