Zaheer Khan finally engaged to Sagarika Ghatge

Zaheer Khan is in the middle of another season of the IPL. He is leading the Delhi Daredevils side and has a lot of work to do as his young team is at the sixth spot in the points table with just two wins out of six games. Daredevils have a 5-day break before they travel to Kolkata to take on the KKR on Friday in a day game.

Zaheer Khan utilized this break to spend time away from the game and made a big announcement through his Twitter handle. After months of speculation about his relationship with Sagarika Ghatge, former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan finally made it official.

The left-arm pacer got engaged to Sagarika and shared a picture of the couple on Twitter. He captioned it as “Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them!!! Partners for life.”

Zaheer was always private about his lady love. Ghatge, though, was seen attending Delhi Daredevils matches to support the skipper. The veteran of 92 Tests has finally put an end to his rumored relationship and made it official with Sagarika.

Sagarika Ghatge played the role of Preeti Sabharwal in his Bollywood debut movie Chak De! India, which was very successful at the box office. She since then has acted in various movies. Sagarika also accompanied Zak to his best friend Yuvraj Singh’s wedding late last year but both always kept mum about their relationship status.

Zaheer has trained really hard to be fit in time for this edition of the IPL. He was doing commentary almost the entire year and pushed himself to be fit in the lead up to the tournament.

He already has 7 wickets in 6 games this season and experts have lauded for his astute leadership. His field placements have been unorthodox but have turned out to be immaculate as the tournament has progressed.
