India completed the whitewash with yet another convincing win against the hosts in the third and final ODI of the series. After winning the toss, Zimbabwe surprisingly elected to bat first. They were placed at 88/2 at one stage but lost 4 wickets in four balls at the score 104 and were eventually bowled out for just 123. Jasprit Bumrah picked up 4 wickets. In response, the Indian opening pair of KL Rahul and debutant Faiz Fazal scored half centuries to seal a 10-wicket win for the team. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.

1 – For the first time in his ODI career, MS Dhoni did not bat in an ODI series in which he played more than 1 game.

2 – Number of 4-wicket hauls Jasprit Bumrah has taken in this series. He became only the 4th Indian to take two 4-wicket hauls in a bilateral ODI series. 8 Indians picked 4-wicket hauls twice in same ODI tournament. No Indian player has picked more than two 4-wicket hauls in an ODI series/tournament.

3 – Number of whitewashes the Indian team has completed under MS Dhoni, the most under any other captain for India.

3 – Wickets lost by India in this series. These are the fewest they have lost in a series in where they played more than 1 game.

4 – Faiz Fazal is only the 4th Indian left-hander to open the innings on ODI debut. Sadagopan Ramesh, Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan are the other three.

7 – MS Dhoni now has won an ODI series/tournament in 7 different Test nations. He is yet to win an ODI series/tournament in South Africa, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

9 – Wickets taken by Jasprit Bumrah in this series. He is only the 3rd Indian to pick 9 or more wickets in a 3-match ODI series.
