They were reduced to four for 108 with almost all of their leading scorers back in the hut, but then Marnus Labuschagne took charge and scored a fantastic century. Mitchell Marsh and Labuschagne stitched together a good partnership and passed through the fourth day. The match could easily have been a win for England, but the fifth day got completely washed out and extinguished the chances for England to bring back the urn home. The match ended in a draw.
