Oman D10 Cup 2022: Final points table after league stage

The ongoing Oman D10 League 2022 has moved to its knock-out round with all the league-stage games being done and dusted. Ruwi Rangers, Qurum Thunders, Amerat Royals, and Bousher Busters have qualified for the Super 4 round and would be raring to lift the title. While Ruwi Rangers dominated the league-stage games, Bousher Busters blew hot and cold but eventually managed to cross the group stage.

However, all these four teams are now standing equidistant from the trophy. Meanwhile, the final standings were determined after the final four league-stage games of the competition on Sunday (March 20). Amerat Royals defeated Qurum Thunders by one run in a high-scoring thriller. This win sealed Royals’ place in the top two. Khuwair Warriors then recorded a comfortable 23-run win over Darsait Titans.

Ruwi Rangers end the league-stage

Ghubrah Giants thrashed Bousher Busters by nine wickets in the third and penultimate encounter of the day. It was a low-scoring affair wherein the Giants recorded a comfortable win. Coming to the final contest of the day, Ruwi Rangers thrashed Azaiba XI by eight wickets to maintain their pole position in the points table and end the league stage on a high.

As far as the final team standings are concerned, the Rangers, having won six of their seven games, finished at top with 12 points. Qurum Thunders lost their last league stage game but they still managed to finish at the second place with 10 points, having won five games in the group stage.

Amerat Royals also ended up with five wins and 10 points but they finished at the third place on the virtue of having a lesser net run rate than Thunders. The fourth place is occupied by Bousher Busters, who won four matches in the league stage and earned eight points.
