Teams participating in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to take place in the USA and West Indies in June, have revealed their jerseys or kits for the event. Each team will don a unique kit with a wide range of colours on display, as 20 teams compete for the crown. Australia's playing kit for the tournament features green, with artwork designed by Aunty Fiona Clarke on the sides. This design follows the Indigenous-themed kit Australia wore in the 2022 tournament.

Australia will be wearing a predominantly green kit at the World event for the first time. The Asics kit for this year's tournament is similar to the kit designed for the 2023-24 home summer, with a dark green hue that has a subtle gradient on the top, and gold underarm sections. The side panels of the kit feature the Walkabout Wickets artwork, which has been increasingly prevalent in Australian kits since it was created in 2016. The switch to all green marks the end of a run of five successive T20 World Cup kits that were predominantly black, starting in 2012.

Here's a sneak-peek into Australis’s latest kit:

Australia rest big names for T20 World Cup 2024

The T20 World Cup 2024 will commence with a group stage, consisting of 20 teams divided into four groups of five teams each. Each team will face every other team in their respective group once to earn the opportunity to progress to the Super 8 stage as group winners and runners-up. The Australian team appears to be in excellent form with the perfect blend of powerful batters and impactful pacers.
