Former Pakistani skipper Rashid Latif has identified some faults in Arjun Tendulkar's bowling after Mumbai Indians' last Indian Premier League 2023 match against Punjab Kings. Son of former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun has been under the limelight since making his IPL debut this season and has produced mixed performances so far.

Arjun, the left-arm medium-pacer, earned his maiden IPL cap on April 16 in a game against Kolkata Knight Riders. He conceded just 17 runs off his two-over spell to showcase the world his talent. He further impressed in the following game against Sunrisers Hyderabad with a maiden IPL wicket during his economical spell.

But the 23-year-old pacer conceded 48 runs from his three-over spell against Punjab Kings, including 31 in his third over. Many fans and former cricketers opined their thoughts on Arjun's latest spell against Punjab Kings, including Rashid Latif.

Renowned cricket journalist Makarand Waingankar asked Latif and other cricketers for a solution to Arjun's struggles with run-up and delivery in one of his Tweets on April 22.

"Former Pakistan player Rashid Latif & quite a few cricketers may be technically right in pointing fault in the run-up & delivery stride that will affect the speed of Arjun Tendulkar but none of them have offered any solution. What's the solution coaches?" Makarand Waingankar asked through his Twitter handle.

Latif replied to Makarand's Tweet and pointed out four faults in Arjun's bowling. He shared four pictures of Arjun's bowling action and delivery stride and highlighted them with valuable inputs.

"Need to improve following steps, he is so young so he can work on it," Rashid Latif replied.
