In the finale of the five-match T20I series, India and West Indies battled it out for the series win. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, India faced early setbacks as both openers, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal departed cheaply at single-digit scores. Akeal Hosein's left-arm spin posed a challenge, claiming both wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma then stabilized the Indian innings with 61 and 27 runs respectively. Despite contributions from the rest of the team, India could manage only a respectable total of 165 runs on the scoreboard. Romario Shepherd emerged as West Indies' star bowler, taking four crucial wickets for just 31 runs in his four-over spell.

Chasing a target of 166, West Indies faced an early hiccup with the loss of Kyle Mayers. However, Nicholas Pooran and Brandon King turned the tide with an explosive partnership of 105 runs in 67 balls. Their aggressive approach shifted the momentum in favor of West Indies until a sudden interruption due to bad weather halted the game. At that juncture, West Indies required 49 runs in 45 balls with nine wickets in hand.

Resuming the game after the weather interruption, Tilak Varma removed Pooran, reigniting India's hopes. But Shai Hope's arrival steadied West Indies, and they successfully chased down the target. King's phenomenal 85 not out, coupled with Hope's support, sealed the victory for West Indies.
