Although the recent form doesn't bode well for RR, they did beat PBKS when the two teams met earlier this season.

They won a low-scoring encounter at Mullanpur, Chandigarh, by three wickets. It's all over for Punjab despite two games remaining in the league stage. They are currently at the bottom of the points table with 8 points. Even if they win the remaining two matches, they can only get a maximum of 12 points.
