Karun Nair was one of the golden finds of legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid. After performing consistently for Karnataka, Nair was picked up by Rajasthan Royals in 2013 which proved to be a successful investment under the combination of Rahul Dravid and Paddy Upton. Since both of them are associated with Delhi Daredevils now, it was no surprise to see players like Nair, Sanju Samson, Rishab Pant being racked up by the Delhi-based franchise. While other youngsters like Samson and Shreyas Iyer have been cold lately, Karun Nair played a gem of an innings along with Quinton de Kock against the mighty RCB at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, which is his home ground too. He is a vital cog for the Delhi outfit and needs to continue performing like this if DD are to make the playoffs after 2012.
