Australia completed the series win over Pakistan in the 5-match ODI series with one more game still to be played as they defeated visitors by 86 runs at Sydney. Australia ensured they put a huge total of 353/6 on the board with David Warner continued his golden run in ODIs with a century. Pakistan did start well in the chase but flattered in the second half and was bowled for 267 in 44 overs. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.

3 – Number of ODI centuries David Warner has scored at Sydney, the joint most by any batsman. Sanath Jayasuriya too has 3 ODI tons at Sydney.

5 – Number of ODI centuries David Warner has scored in 2016/17 season, the joint most by any Australian in a season. Matthew Hayden too had 5 ODI tons in 2006/07 season. Overall, only Kumar Sangakkara has scored 6 centuries in a season. He did it in the 2014/15 season.

5 – Number of 350+ scores in ODIs at Sydney, the 2nd most at a single venue. South Africa’s New Wanders at Johannesburg hosted six 350+ ODI totals.

6 – Number of centuries David Warner has scored in International cricket at Sydney, the 2nd most by any player. Ricky Ponting has 8 centuries at Sydney which is the most for anyone.

10 – This game marked the 10th instance of all the top 5 Australian batsmen scoring 30 or more in the same ODI innings. Previous 4 have come against India.

18 – Number of 300+ totals recorded at Sydney, the joint 2nd most at a specific venue. Colombo’s Premadasa Stadium had 19 totals of 300+ while Karachi too had 18.

82 – Runs conceded by Junaid Khan in this game, the most by a Pakistan bowler in an ODI in Australia. Previous most was 80 by Umar Gul in 2010 at Adelaide against Australia.

90 – Innings taken by David Warner to score his 12 centuries in ODI cricket, the 3rd fewest by any player. Hashim Amla took 81 innings while Virat Kohli took 83.

94 – Number of 300+ totals Australia have scored in ODI cricket, the most by any team. 92 of those have come in 50 over games for Australia.

157.44 – Sharjeel Khan’s strike rate during his knock of 74 off 47 balls, the 2nd best in a fifty plus score in ODIs for a Pakistan batsman against Australia. The highest is 215.38 by Shahid Afridi during his 56* off 26 balls at Hobart in 2005.

353/6 – Australia’s total of 353/6 is their highest over Pakistan in ODIs. Previous highest was 337/7 in 1999, which also came at Sydney.
