Jalaj Saxena is also one of those Indian cricketers who are yet to get a chance at the highest level despite owning scintillating domestic stats. Hailing from Indore, Saxena has been a consistent performer for Kerala over the years. Of course, he was the main force behind Kerala’s dream run in the Ranji Trophy this season as the South Indian side made it to the semi-finals of the mega tournament.

The right-handed batsman, who bowls off-spin, didn’t let his team down and scored on a consistent basis for his state to help them produce positive results. However, having scored nearly 6000 First-class runs and scalped 291 wickets, Saxena is unluckily still waiting for his maiden India call-up, which for now looks far away.
