Injuries have kept Kuldeep Yadav out of the international setup for a long time, and as a result, he missed the fixtures against South Africa, Ireland, and England before making his return in the West Indies series. But even then, the BCCI had revealed that he would be given a chance only if he was fit to play.

Kuldeep Yadav played just one game in the entire West Indies series, that being the last and final T20I of the five-match series, which India had already won with that particular game to spare. He returned with figures of 3/12 in four overs and impressed everyone.

But with the spinners like Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Ashwin, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja getting more attention as compared to Yadav, the Indian selectors might as well keep him out of the squad in order to give an opportunity to those in form.
