Deepak Hooda has been in and around the T20 side for a while now but never made his debut. The Baroda all-rounder possesses immaculate talent both with bat and ball and can change the game all by himself, just like the Pathan brothers who also hail from the same region. He also captained Baroda in the Ranji Trophy briefly.

Hooda has been receiving a huge paycheck from Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last three seasons but is yet to deliver a top performance. His domestic record has been quite solid and he is looking good to make an impact in the IPL where most of the senior players will be rested due to World Cup commitments. If he takes this chance with both hands, we might see Hooda don the national jersey in 2019.
