Asia Cup 2018: Three mistakes India made against Hong Kong
India should avoid making these mistakes in the tournament ahead.
2. Taking the opposition lightly
Rohit mentioned in the press conference that all the teams have equal chances in the Asia Cup and they were certainly not taking Hong Kong lightly. But did he walk the talk? Surely not. There was no coordination between the team members when the things were going tough. Some rash shots were played by the batsmen and they gave away a healthy position of 240/2.
The skipper was leading from the front in this aspect as he got out to an ordinary shot to Ehsan Khan. The bowlers didn’t bowl accurate line and lengths and one felt like they were almost hoping that Hong Kong’s batters will make mistakes.
