The ousted Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has finally received the money from the Indian board which was due for almost 19 months. He had frequently contacted the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to pay him the desired amount but to no avail. Even his mother Shabnam Singh had requested for the same after her son’s request wasn’t paid any heed. However, the cricketer must be finally relieved now as BCCI paid him Rs 3.11 Crores which is certainly a big amount.

The soon to be 36-year-old Yuvraj was injured during the 2016 ICC World T20 which was held in India. He had to miss the seven matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which followed after that where he was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a whopping amount of Rs. 7 Crores. According to the rules of the board, the contracted Indian players in IPL are insured against injuries and they are eligible for compensation in case they miss the lucrative T20 tournament.
