The World T20 2016 saw some of the new superstars make their name on the biggest stage of them all. Some performed admirably in the whole tournament while some debutants sparkled in an innings and left the world looking forward to their next big exploits. While most of them are young and new to international cricket, there is also a veteran who was outstanding in his WT20 debut. Here are the best debutants in this World T20:

Bangladesh’s left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman made every cricketing fan stand up and take notice in his debut ODI series against India in 2015, where he singlehandedly defeated India 2-1 in a three-match series for the first time.

In this World T20, Mustafizur came in with an injury he picked up in Asia Cup T20, but he got fit just in time, as Taskin Ahmed was banned for a suspect action. Mustafizur came back into the team and against New Zealand, returned the figures of 5/22 in 4 overs in Kolkata. He picked up 9 wickets in total in the tournament and did justice to his immense talent.
