2025 was a remarkable year in international cricket, as fans around the world got to see their favourite batters in action, scoring truckloads of runs. A bunch of cricketers, whether from giant cricketing nations or rising stars, impressed by putting the best of their skills up on display.

As we wind up on 2025 and embark on a new journey to welcome a mouthwatering year of cricket in 2026, CricTracker has a look at some of the finest batters from the departing year, who scored the most number of three-figure scores across formats. Some are youngsters, with a huge potential, while some names have established themselves over the last decade or so.

Here are the batters with most international centuries in 2025

5. Pathum Nissanka and Rachin Ravindra (4 hundreds each)

Sri Lanka opening batter Pathum Nissanka looked in great form across formats in 2025. He accounted for four hundreds in the calendar year, while taking only 34 matches to do so. Nissanka scored 1414 runs in 2025 at an impressive average of 40.40. He scored a couple of centuries in Tests, with one coming against India during the T20 Asia Cup. The right-handed batter also had a century in One-Day Internationals, which came against Zimbabwe.

New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra bats at the top of the order, and was a regular feature for the BlackCaps throughout the year. His first hundred of the year came against Bangladesh during the Champions Trophy. In the semi-finals of the same event against South Africa, Rachin continued his form for his second ton of the year. The rest of his centuries came in Tests — one each against Zimbabwe and the West Indies.
