2. Tanush Kotian

Tanush Kotian, a young off-spinner, has made waves with his impressive performances for Mumbai. Kotian’s rise through the ranks has been marked by his clever variations and calm demeanour under pressure.

Kotian’s ability to combine control with flight and dip has made him particularly effective in limited-overs formats. In T20 and List A cricket, he often bowls in the middle overs to stem the flow of runs and pick up vital dismissals.

In 44 first-class matches, the Mumbai spinner has picked up 131 wickets at an average of 27.48, including three five-wicket hauls and eight four-wicket hauls. His 2023-24 season with Mumbai is widely considered as one of the best seasons for an all-rounder, picking up 29 wickets at an average of 16.96, while also scoring 502 runs with the bat, to earn the Player of the Tournament award for Mumbai and help them win the tournament.
