Nehal Wadhera made his debut for the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023. Ahead of this season, he was roped in by the Punjab Kings. The southpaw has played some brilliant knocks for the Shreyas Iyer-led franchise. In 10 innings, he has scored 280 runs at an average of 35 and a strike rate of 157.31.

Wadhera can bludgeon good deliveries for boundaries and manoeuvre his game according to match situations. He is someone who not only targets the leg side but can also clear the ropes on the off side. Wadhera is equally adept at playing both pace and spin. His highest score of 70 off 37 balls came against the Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The 24-year-old will look to play a significant role in Punjab’s upcoming matches as they aim to win their first IPL title.
