5 Former cricketers who coached fellow cricketers after retirement
While some cricketers prefer to stay away from the sport after retirement, others take up different roles like commentary or coaching.
1. Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh has not taken up a full-time coaching role as yet. However, the iconic cricketer, who won the Player of the Tournament award in the 2011 ODI World Cup, has been coaching some of the brilliant talents coming out of Punjab. Current Indian Test captain Shubman Gill considers Yuvraj as his mentor. India's T20 opener Abhishek Sharma has also mentioned how working with the 43-year-old has helped him develop his skills. The Chandigarh-born follows their game closely and often gives his take on their innings on social media.
