The name Lendl Simmons has somehow gone forgotten in the IPL. There was a time when the West Indian batter was one of the heroes for the Mumbai Indians from 2014 up to 2017, and he has also got two IPL titles to his name. Not only that, but Simmons has a great record in T20 cricket in both international and domestic cricket and is also a two-time T20 World Cup winner with the Caribbean side.

Simmons, in the four years he has played for the Mumbai franchise, has played only 29 matches but has scored 1029 runs at an average of 39.96 and has a strike rate of 126.64, which surprises the fans at how he was ignored for so long in the tournament.
