Vignesh Puthur might not have had a lot of games, but he has proven to have a lot of potential in the five matches he has featured in. The 24-year-old Kerala left-arm wrist spinner has a natural flight and dip and bowls an attacking length to the batters. Though Puthur still has a lot to improve in terms of variations, his natural ability might be enough to get him a place in international cricket.

In the five matches he has played so far, Puthur has taken six wickets at an average of 18.16. Though his economy is slightly on the higher side, he has still managed to take some crucial wickets. His best game so far was against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), against whom he finished with figures of 3/32 in his full quota of four overs.
