Kuldeep Yadav had an outstanding Asia Cup 2025 campaign. He ended up as the leading wicket-taker in the history of the tournament with 36 scalps in 18 matches (both ODI and T20I versions of the tournament). Kuldeep featured in all seven matches for the Men in Blue. He did go wicketless in any of the games. Kuldeep secured two three and as many four-wicket hauls.

The Uttar Pradesh cricketer's most impactful outing was the summit clash of the tournament. Kuldeep's three-wicket fourth over meant Pakistan had been completely dented. Earlier in the tournament, he had secured the Player of the Match award for his 3/18 during the league phase clash against the arch-rivals. In the 2025 instalment, Kuldeep conceded runs at a miserly 6.27.
