Yashasvi Jaiswal has been recalled to the ODI squad after being left out of the England series. His most recent ODI appearance came on June 17, 2026, against Afghanistan, meaning he had been out of the fifty-over setup for close to three months before this selection.
The recall indicates that the selectors have chosen to reintegrate Jaiswal into the ODI structure ahead of the West Indies series. His return adds a highly skilled option at the top alongside a unit that includes the likes of Rohit Sharma, skipper Gill and Virat Kohli.
