Punjab Kings ended the IPL 2023 campaign with 6 wins from their 14 games to finish 8^th in the table. It has been nearly a decade that the Punjab side has done anything substantial in the IPL. Delhi Capitals on the other hand will be banking on the return of Rishabh Pant to find their inspiration.

3. Arshdeep Singh vs Prithvi Shaw 

In one of the most keenly anticipated player battles, two former India under-19 teammates will vie for bragging rights. Arshdeep Singh with the new ball steaming into a bowl to Prithvi Shaw will be a great match-up. Prithvi Shaw’s penchant to be bowled through the gates will be on Arshdeep’s mind ahead of the game.  

Prithvi Shaw is coming back to cricket after months of being sidelined due to injury. 2023 was a year to forget for the young opener from Mumbai. In 8 games last year, Prithvi Shaw scored just 106 runs with a solitary half-century. 

Arshdeep Singh will be looking to continue his good form in the white ball format. The young pacer can get the ball back into the right-handed batter. This was the same delivery that got rid of Babar Azam during the 2022 T20 World Cup.
