1. Noor Ahmad
Noor Ahmad’s form heading into the 2026 IPL season remains a minor concern as far as CSK are concerned. The 21-year-old’s stellar 2025 season in yellow is what will be fresh in the memory of their hardcore fans.
Noor finished as the second-highest wicket-taker during the 2025 IPL season, taking 23 scalps from 14 games at an economy of just over eight. The spinner had two four-wicket hauls in the tournament, with his best figures of 4 for 18 coming against the Mumbai Indians on his CSK debut.
Noor, however, had a disappointing SA20 playing for the Durban Super Giants. He took just five wickets from eight outings. The Chennai-based side, however, does have Akeal Hosein in their ranks should they want to place someone instead of Noor.
