Batting stalwart Rohit Sharma, who captained India in the Asia Cup 2022, has had a rollercoaster ride in his career since then. After announcing his retirement from T20Is and Test cricket, Rohit continues to lead India in ODIs, guiding the team to several historic wins. Under his captaincy, India reached the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup, lifted the 2024 T20 World Cup, and went on to win the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

Recently, the 38-year-old was spotted in Bengaluru, where he underwent a routine fitness check. Sources confirmed it was part of his regular assessments with the BCCI medical team. Even after stepping away from certain formats, Rohit continues to play in the IPL and will be next seen wearing the national jersey in the tour of Australia, later this year.
