Assam cricketer Riyan Parag is a name that creates a lot of curiosity among Indian fans. He does show a bit of laid-back approach, but his temperament and prowess as an all-rounder has earned him immense success in domestic cricket. Over the last couple of years, he has shown maturity, where he also got to captain Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. The Guwahati-born made his India debut in 2024, and has played nine T20Is thus far.

There is one catch, though. Parag has been very prone to injuries, which kept him away from international cricket in the whole of 2025. If he can get fit just in time, and impress the selectors of his readiness to play for the Indian team once again, he might be seen making a fierce comeback ahead of the crucial T20 World Cup.
