Coming off a loss against the Chennai Super Kings, the Delhi Capitals (DC) will now face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 59th match of Indian Premier League 2023. The Punjab management has also been questioned with Sikandar Raza being left out after guiding their team to the victory line against CSK. Meanwhile, Delhi can play spoilsport by having Punjab go out of the tournament, which will clear the way for the rest of the teams who are hanging in for a spot in the playoffs. Not sending Axar Patel up the order has proved costly for DC since he has been the second-best batter after their skipper David Warner.

A win for Punjab will not only keep them alive but also put pressure on other franchises to play better to seal the playoff spot.
