St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders will lock horns in Match 4 of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025. This is the third match St Kitts will be playing in as many days.
The hosts won their tournament-opening clash against Antigua and Barbuda Falcons by six wickets and 30 balls to spare.. Afghani left-arm wrist spinner Waqar Salamkheil emerged as the Player of the Match with excellent figures of 4/22 in his quota. Alick Athanaze (37* off 28) and Jason Holder (18* off 14) added 49 runs for the fifth wicket to seal the win.
In their second match against Guyana Amazon Warriors, a 100-plus stand between Ben McDermott (75 off 39) and Shai Hope (56* off 39) helped the Warriors to chase down the 154-run target as Patriots lost by five wickets.
Trinbago Knight Riders are yet to begin their campaign. Speaking of how they fared last year, the team secured a third-placed finish in the points table, winning seven out of ten games. However, they were outbatted by Barbados Royals in the Eliminator. Nicholas Pooran & Co. will be keen on getting their season off to a bright start.
