Cricket Australia unveils new kits for 2025-26 summer

Cricket Australia has announced its new playing kits for the 2025-26 summer. The updated uniforms, designed in collaboration with ASICS, are a partnership that dates back to 2011.

The standout feature of this year’s kits is the updated Indigenous artwork titled Land & Sea, created by renowned Kirrae Whurrong artist Aunty Fiona Clarke. Clarke’s design contains her iconic Walkabout Wickets motif, which honours the trailblazing 1868 Aboriginal XI that toured England as the first Australian cricket team. The shoulders consist of artwork that shows the connection between players and Indigenous heritage.

"I am both honoured and proud to have created the artwork for the players' uniforms. It's powerful to see today's players carry the story of the first Aboriginal XI Cricket Walkabout team with them. This artwork is about more than a shirt design; it's about honouring those who came before us, and connecting them with present and future players. The stars symbolise every cricketer, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal, who continues this shared legacy through the game," said Aunty Fiona as quoted by CA.

Unveiling came ahead of a packed 2025-26 international calendar

Both men’s and women’s white-ball kits have the artwork, with the ODI design presented in Australia’s signature gold and the T20I kits featuring reversed green-and-gold contrasts. The T20I outfits also reflect Ricky Ponting’s 2003 World Cup-winning team with side-panel designs remembering of that era. 

For the Test whites, the yellow piping replaces the traditional green around the collar and sleeves, and a shift in the main sponsor logo from Toyota to Westpac. Another eye-catching detail is the bold red “W” positioned across the chest, emphasizing Cricket Australia’s new four-year sponsorship deal with Westpac. 

The unveiling came ahead of a packed 2025-26 international calendar. The men’s team begins with a limited-overs series against South Africa in August, making the return of international cricket to the Northern Territory for the first time in 17 years. This will be followed by three ODIs and a historic five-match T20I series against India in October and November.

The highlight of the summer is set to be the Ashes series, beginning in late November in Perth. For the women’s team, Alyssa Healy’s team will host India for a multi-format tour in February 2026. The schedule includes three T20Is, three ODIs, and a one-off Test in Perth.
