IPL 2025: RCB sign Mayank Agarwal as injury replacement for Devdutt Padikkal

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have signed Mayank Agarwal as an injury replacement for Devdutt Padikkal for the remainder of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Devdutt Padikkal, who played 10 matches for RCB this season and scored 247 runs with the help of two half-centuries, sustained an injury to his right hamstring.

Mayank Agarwal has played 127 IPL matches so far, scoring 2661 runs. He has 1 IPL hundred and 13 fifties against his name. He joins RCB for INR 1 crore.

Delhi Capitals rope in Sediqullah Atal

Delhi Capitals (DC) have picked Sediqullah Atal as a replacement for Harry Brook for the remainder of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. England batter Harry Brook opted out of IPL 2025 due to personal reasons. Sediqullah Atal from Afghanistan has scored a total of 1507 T20 runs in 49 matches. The left-handed batter made his T20I Debut in 2023 and has represented Afghanistan in all three formats. He will now join DC for his base price of INR 1.25 crore.
