New Zealand and India will square off in the third and final ODI of the series, which will also conclude the tour, at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. After winning the first ODI, New Zealand took a 1-0 lead in the series before the second game at Hamilton was washed out. With just one game remaining, the Men in Blue would be looking to level the series and end it in a draw.

This will be the first time that India play an ODI match at the Hagley Oval. On the other hand, hosts New Zealand have played a total of 11 ODIs at this venue, winning 10 and losing just one. New Zealand won the first game by seven wickets as Tom Latham and skipper Kane Williamson shared an unbeaten 221-run partnership for the fourth wicket, while the Indian bowlers struggled.

Shikhar Dhawan & Co. will need to be at their best so as to return home with their heads high. The hosts, during the first match, showcased why they are the best in business, and the Men in Blue will need to pull up their socks for this game. After a 1-0 win in the T20I series, leveling the ODI series will be a morale booster for the Indian side that is without its senior players.

92% cloud cover and 7% risk of thunderstorms

On Wednesday, November 30, the temperature will reach a high of 18 degrees. The weather has played a major factor throughout India's entire tour of New Zealand, and Wednesday will be no exception. On the day of the game, an hour of rain with an intensity of 0.9 MM is forecast. There will also be 92% cloud cover and 7% risk of thunderstorms.

However, we may hope for a successful match and outcome in contrast to what transpired in Napier a few days ago. When playing white-ball games, the Hagley Oval pitch frequently helps the batsmen. The outfield at this venue is also excellent, doing full justice to the batters' shots. The pitch here frequently remains true, which benefits pacers somewhat, particularly in the initial few overs when they may find some bounce and movement.
