Rohit Sharma reveals he gets scolded by wife Ritika when clicking her pictures
Ex-Indian captain appeared on Family Full House and discussed his wife Ritika Sajdeh's cooking skills and their photography dynamics while travelling together.
Former Indian captain Rohit Sharma recently appeared on Family Full House to discuss his domestic life with wife Ritika Sajdeh. The conversation touched on how he responds when Ritika's cooking does not meet his expectations and revealed candid details about their photography habits during travels. The couple married on December 13, 2015, in a grand ceremony in Mumbai and have two children, daughter Samaira Sharma and son Ahaan Sharma.
The show airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 PM on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV. During the episode, Rohit opened up about the lighter moments in their household and the dynamics between them when it comes to food preparation and capturing moments on camera while away from home.
When asked about his response to Ritika's cooking, Rohit was candid about his expectations and how he communicates with her in the kitchen. He acknowledged that sometimes the salt levels in her dishes vary, but he was careful to balance honesty with appreciation for her effort.
"Sir, kabhi-kabhi jaise khana bana ke aise hi khilati hai mereko, kabhi kabhi kya hota hai, namak kam ho gaya, zyada ho gaya, toh apan kya karte hain? Chup-chaap se side se aise hataye ya khaye? Arey, maine kya banaya khana!," Rohit said in the aforementioned source.
How does Rohit react to Ritika's cooking?
When asked if he tells Ritika directly about the salt levels in her cooking, Rohit acknowledged that he does speak up, though he was careful with his response. He explained that Ritika prepares a limited range of dishes, but whatever she makes, she executes with great care and precision. His diplomatic answer drew a light-hearted reaction from the host.
"Haan, haan, bol deta hoon. I mean, halaanki, I don't think unki jo bhi cheez... I mean, bahut limited cheezein banati hain, jo bhi limited cheezein banati hain, bahut hi achhe tareeke se banati hain, toh... koi complaint hai nahi," Rohit said.
They joked that Rohit was playing it safe with his answer, suggesting that if he complained too much, he might lose access to Ritika's cooking altogether. Rohit responded with characteristic humour, dismissing the notion that he plays it safe in any aspect of his life.
What does Rohit say about their photography habits while travelling?
When the conversation shifted to photography during their travels, Rohit revealed a common dynamic between them. He explained that both he and Ritika tend to take fewer photographs of each other and more of other people around them. This leaves them with limited opportunities to capture moments together when they are away.
"Lekin abhi dekho, main aksar apni biwi ko bolta hoon ki mera photo kheench aise-aise. Lekin aksar yeh hota hai ki hum dono ek-dusre ki kam photo kheechte hain, baaki logon ki zyada kheechte hain. Humein mauka kam milta hai ek-dusre ki photo kheenchne ka," Rohit said.
"Main samajh raha hoon, yeh bahut common cheez hai. Jab bhi aap trip pe jaate ho ya bahar jaate ho, toh aap photographer ko leke jaate nahi ho. Aapas mein maamla niptaana padta hai, toh shayad kabhi-kabhi aapko photographer banna padega," he added.
