Why are Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer not playing IPL 2024 Match 56 between DC vs RR?
DC have made two changes to their playing XI from the last game.
Rajasthan Royals took on Delhi Capitals in Match 56 of the Indian Premier League 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, on May 7. RR won the toss and opted to bowl first. RR, who witnessed an unusual slug in what was a dream IPL 2024 outing eye resurgence. They made two major changes to their playing XI. Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel were termed unavailable by Sanju Samson as Shubham Dubey and Donovan Ferreira are replacing both batters.
On the other hand, DC have made two changes to their playing XI from the last game. Ishant Sharma and Gulbadin Naib have been picked for the crucial game. As a result, they have dropped Lizaad Williams and Prithvi Shaw from the 11-member squad. It is worth noting that both the foreigners, Donovan Ferreira and Gulbadin Naib are making their debut for RR and DC respectively.
“We would like to bowl first, looks a good a wicket to chase on. We are comfortable doing both. The environment in the team is what pleases me, we have great characters, of course winning helps. Dhruv and Hetmyer are unavailable. Shubham Dubey and Donovan Ferreira are in,” said Samson at the toss.
“Pitches this season are more batting friendly. Some injuries, health issues are there in our team but we don't want focus on those things and we got to focus on the matches and do our best. Ishant and Gulbadin come in,” said Pant at the toss.
