BAN vs PAK 2025: Bangladesh vs Pakistan, 3rd T20I Match Preview

Bangladesh square off against Pakistan in the third T20I at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday, July 24. The Bangla Tigers have already bagged the series after winning the first two games. They will look to whitewash Pakistan, while the Salman Ali Agha-led side will want to salvage pride.

In the first two games, Pakistan has been abysmal. The pitches have not been conducive to strokeplay, and they have not adjusted their game accordingly. In the first T20I, five out of their top six batters will be dismissed for single-digit scores. However, the condition deteriorated in the following game, as none of the top six batters could get to double figures.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, are more accustomed to playing on these surfaces. The bowling has been brilliant, as they have not given the opposition batters too many freebies. Fielding has also been much better, with the presence of several youngsters in the lineup.

Jaker Ali has been the crisis man for Bangladesh in recent times. His half-century in the second T20I proved to be crucial. Parvez Hossain Emon, who scored a fifty in the first T20I, will look to get his team off to a solid start. On the bowling front, Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam will hold the key. Mahedi Hasan has also been brilliant with his all-round skills.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will want their most experienced batter, Fakhar Zaman, to step up. The southpaw played well in the first T20I, but was dismissed cheaply in the second. In the bowling department, Salman Nazir has done well, picking up four wickets in two games. Ahmed Daniyal also did a good job with both bat and ball on his international debut in the second T20I. Mohammad Nawaz's role will be crucial in the middle overs as he can take on the spinners.
