Bangladesh will take on Afghanistan in the ninth match of the Asia Cup 2025 on Tuesday, September 16, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Bangladesh has won and lost one game each. Bangladesh took on Sri Lanka in their last match and made 139 runs for the loss of five wickets. Jaker Ali (41 off 34) and Shamim Hossain (42 off 34) were the highest scorers for the team and remained unbeaten. Sri Lanka chased down the target of 140 runs in 14.4 overs and won the match by six wickets.
