In the 51st match of the IPL 2026, Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Delhi Capitals endured a disappointing performance in their previous match, suffering an 8-wicket defeat against Chennai Super Kings. Batting first, Delhi managed to post 155 runs on the board, but Chennai’s dominant batting performance helped them chase the target comfortably in just 17.3 overs.

While batting first, Delhi failed to get the desired start from their top order. However, Tristan Stubbs contributed a valuable 38 runs, while Sameer Rizvi chipped in with 40. With the ball, Delhi bowlers struggled to make an impact, although Axar Patel and Lungi Ngidi picked up one wicket each.

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders delivered an impressive performance in their previous encounter, registering a convincing 7-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. Sunrisers posted a total of 165 runs, but KKR chased it down comfortably in 18.2 overs.

KKR received an excellent start from their top order, with Ajinkya Rahane scoring a crucial 43 off 36 balls, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi played a quickfire knock of 59 from 47 deliveries. On the bowling front, Varun Chakravarthy starred with figures of 3 for 36, while Sunil Narine and Kartik Tyagi claimed two wickets each.
