Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the fifth match of the IPL 2025. This match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 74 matches will be played across 13 cities over the next two months as the IPL fever kicks off. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be played in Hyderabad on May 20 and 21, respectively. Qualifier 2, on May 23, and the final, on May 25, will be in Kolkata.

Gujarat Titans will be led by Shubman Gill and have retained familiar players like Rashid Khan, Tewatia, and Sai Sudhashan from the last season. Glenn Phillips, Jos Buttler, and Sherfane Rutheford are the additions while they have also managed to pick Rabada, Shami, and Sundar from the auction. They will be keen to have a good season this time aound. 

On the other hand, Punjab Kings have opted to go fully fresh and released all except 2 playes from last season. Shreyas Iyer will lead the side and there are five Australian overseas players in the squad. They look a balanced side and will be keen to start well. This promises to be an exciting match.
