Zimbabwe will face New Zealand in the third match of the Tri-Series on Friday, July 18, at the Harare Sports Club. It will be the first game between the two teams in the series. New Zealand faced South Africa in their first game and scored 173 runs for the loss of five wickets. Tim Robinson was the highest scorer for the team and remained unbeaten on 75 runs off 57 deliveries. In reply, South Africa were bundled out for 152 and New Zealand won the match by 21 runs. South Africa reached the target of 142 runs in 15.5 overs with five wickets in hand. Richard Ngarava was the most successful bowler for Zimbabwe and took three wickets for 35 runs in four overs.
Zimbabwe and New Zealand have faced each other in six T20I matches so far. New Zealand have won all six matches. It is the first time New Zealand and Zimbabwe will face each other in a T20I game since 2015.
