Hardik Pandya is making the most of his time away from the cricket field. The India allrounder was rested for the ongoing tour of West Indies after a hectic schedule. Pandya has been struggling with a spate of injuries in recent times. He had been ruled out of the Australia ODIs and T20Is at home before the IPL because of lower back stiffness.

During the Asia Cup in September last year, he had picked up a stress fracture of the back which made him miss the home series against Windies and most of the Australia Test series in December-January. With a crucial home season awaiting India, the team-management decided to give Pandya some much-needed rest.

Before being rested, he impressed one and all with his batting and bowling exploits in the IPL and the World Cup. He starred for the Mumbai Indians and helped them lift their fourth title by scoring 402 runs and taking 14 wickets. In the World Cup too, he did well with both bat and ball although there is still a huge scope of improvement.

Pandya, nonetheless, is not really resting at the moment. The all-rounder is making the most of the break. He was recently spotted with a brand new car in the bright orange color along with his brother Krunal Pandya. Reports suggest that he has bought a new Lamborghini Huracan EVO supercar worth Rs 3.73 Crore (ex-showroom).

Hardik Pandya tries a new challenge

Hardik Pandya has now taken another challenge albeit not on the cricket field. The 25-year-old cricketer turned showstopper for designer Amit Aggarwal at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2019 edition held at St. Regis in Mumbai. Model and actress, Lisa Haydon joined the cricketer in showcasing Delhi-based couturier’s collection ‘Flux’.

Pandya is already seen by many as a style icon and he is bound to dazzle the fashion show with his presence. His personality and fashion sense has made him one of the most popular cricketers in the country. A good show might also see him bag some more endorsements.
