Team India will be locking horns in the second and final Test match against Windies starting from Friday. They are leading the series by 1-0 and are the favourites to clean sweep the series in the next few days. The hosts have now set a benchmark of announcing the 12-member side 24 hours before the Test match and the BCCI did the same on the eve of the second game.

India is likely to play with the same XI in Hyderabad as the same 12-member team has been released ahead of the second Test. This means that Mayank Agarwal continues to warm the bench and KL Rahul will get another opportunity to make amends after his failure in Rajkot. Shardul Thakur is the 12th member of the squad once again and it is unlikely that he will get a Test cap in this game.

All eyes on Shaw

All the eyes will once again be on Prithvi Shaw who made a sensational debut in Rajkot. His 134-run knock highlighted that he is got talent and will now be expected to carry on in the same vein in the upcoming matches. It is important for the team that he stays in the correct frame of mind with Australia tour coming up in December. Agarwal seems to be unlucky once again.

He will have to wait for his chance more as it seems that Team India will field a similar kind of XI Down Under at least in the first Test. As of now, they will be keen on getting the job done in this series and the likes of Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul should be amongst the runs.

Both of them have been struggling for a long time now apart from an odd score in an inning. If they manage to get their confidence back in this encounter, almost all the boxes will be ticked going to Australia.

India 12-member squad: Virat Kohli (c), KL Rahul, Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravi Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur
