Sunrisers Hyderabad will be facing off Rajasthan Royals at their home ground to start off their season. Despite the loss of their key player and skipper, David Warner following his one year ban, the team is hoping for a great start. Willaimson will be leading the Sunrisers in the absence of Warner. The team will surely miss Warner’s services but is looking to cover it up.

Nabi confident of SRH’s chances:

Mohammad Nabi, the Afganistan allrounder seems pretty confident of the team’s chances in the absence of Warner. He said the team can still do well if each player contributes. Nabi has been picked by the SRH for the second time for the second time. Nabi also said that SRH has a great combination of all-rounders and bowlers. He felt that the bowling department is pretty strong.

“A player being part of the team or not being part of the team is normal. It happens all the time. I think every player needs to step up their game, and I think we can do well. It is just a matter of getting the team combination right. And I’m sure that everyone will perform well throughout the league. We have got good all-rounders and bowlers in the team, those two departments are really strong for us. So we can do well in the tournament,” Nabi was quoted.

Happy to be with Sunrisers for the second time – Nabi:

Nabi who has been a part of many foreign leagues gained a ton load of experience in the shortest format of the game. His contribution in leagues globally resulted in SRH buying him again for one crore in the auction. Talking about being part of the SRH franchise, he expressed his happiness. The former Afghanistan skipper has had a great time with the bat in the recently concluded WC qualifiers too.

“I am very happy that SRH picked me for the second time in a row, and this just shows that they have the confidence in me, that I can do well. Tom Moody, coach of SRH has been following my game closely during the Big Bash League and ICC World Cup Qualifiers as well. That’s why the management exactly knows how I’m playing, that will help me and the team during the tournament,” he added.
