One of the most adorable and beautiful franchise owners, Preity Zinta has hardly missed out on attending an IPL game in the last 10 years. She’s leading the fan group from the front and her relentless support, despite the side not performing incredibly well, is indeed worth appreciating.

Well, her fate might change this season as there’s a new look to the Kings XI Punjab side and they really look solid across every department. The last-minute inclusion of Chris Gayle seemed to be a brilliant choice after looking at the way he performed in the previous game. The Caribbean legend spanked a fifty and helped his side edge out Chennai Super Kings.

The game was going one-sided before a certain MS Dhoni stepped in and ran riot with the bat. His power-hitting took the game to the final over, but eventually, Preity Zinta’s troops had the last laugh. Despite the win, there was a moment when she got furious and started yelling at a few fans in the stands. After various speculations, she has finally cleared the air on this issue with a tweet.

She was trying to prevent two girls getting trampled

Replying to a media house’s official Twitter handle, Preity Zinta confirmed that she was shouting at a few people who were trampling a couple of girls in the crowd. Many speculated that some spectators must’ve said something infuriating due to which Preity lost her cool. But her explanation to the incident clears the air and ends all the speculations.

The incident occurred when she was distributing a few Kings XI Punjab jerseys as a part of a promotional event. In the process, she started yelling at someone and it was all recorded by a fan who was trying to get a glimpse of the veteran actress and also get the jersey. Punjab fans turned up in big numbers for this huge game and were thoroughly entertained.

“2 little girls were being trampled by the crowd. I asked the people to move & give them space so they could breathe & not cry,” she wrote on her official Twitter handle.
