4. Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians were absolutely unstoppable last season as they won their 5^th title and it looked as if they had no weakness that could be exploited. With a very similar squad to last year, many expected them to dominate the league this season as well, but that hasn’t been the case and other teams have shown that even they can be defeated.

Their middle-order was suffering from a rough patch until their last match against CSK where they flaunted great form. Kieron Pollard appeared in the form of his life as he played a fiery knock to chase down 218 runs and he was supported well by Krunal Pandya. Even Hardik Pandya added in his small contribution to get the team going.

Their bowling attack has been quite good and pretty much everyone has contributed in a positive manner. Rahul Chahar has been the best one while the others have also chipped in with wickets. Overall, their team isn’t much better than those below them at present but their winning mentality and sheer quality compared to the others might push them to the 4th slot now and better rankings in the future.
