SRH’s all-rounders are pretty much the same as last season given they retained 22 players ahead of the auction. Three of their overseas slots will be occupied by David Warner, Rashid Khan, and one of Kane Williamson and Jonny Bairstow, which leaves just one more slot.

That overseas slot is likely to be taken up by one of SRH’s three overseas all-rounders in the form of Mitchell Marsh, Jason Holder, and Mohammad Nabi. Marsh was picked in their first game last season, but he was ruled out due to injury, and his replacement player, Holder made the most of his chances and became a key player for them.

Thus, the West Indian will most likely be given first preference this season. Nabi might come into the team if the pitch is in favour of spin. All three of them are quite effective and do their job, but none of them are out-and-out matchwinners, which means they can only be 6th on the list. Vijay Shankar and Abhishek Sharma are their primary Indian all-rounders and will play the role of 6th and 7th bowlers while also batting in the middle order.
