3. Mark Wood
Mark Wood can also be a consideration for CSK in the 2022 auction. A hit the deck bowler, Mark has got a very great pace in his locker. With his extra bounce and pace, Wood has almost tormented every batsman.
The English fast bowler has picked up 46 wickets in 38 matches at an economy rate of 8.14 and an average of 23.63. His last match came back with the Chennai Super Kings in 2018 but could not exploit against the opposition as he went for 46 runs in 4 overs playing a single match.
Though his T20 career does not look so great, his pace can be a factor. Mark Wood can be an alternative for the Yellow team in the 2022 IPL auction.
